Black River Audubon Society Annual Meeting & Dinner: A Night to Remember

On Tuesday, December 3, 2024, nearly 100 members and supporters of the Black River Audubon Society gathered at Henry’s Barn in Oberlin for our inaugural Annual Meeting & Dinner. The evening was filled with celebration, learning, and camaraderie as we reflected on an extraordinary year of conservation and education.

Guests enjoyed a delicious dinner, followed by an engaging keynote presentation on owl banding. Our guest speaker captivated the audience with fascinating insights into the science and conservation efforts behind monitoring these mysterious nocturnal birds.

Congratulations to Marty Ackermann, the 2024 Jack Smith Community Service Award recipient.

The evening was a tremendous success, bringing together members, supporters, and friends to celebrate our shared passion for birds and conservation.

Thank you to everyone who attended, contributed, and made this event possible. Your support helps us continue our mission to educate and inspire our community to protect the natural world.

Here’s to another year of soaring achievements!
